(1970) All Hallows’ Eve Eve featured this much better than I remembered horror anthology. Well, okay, the last segment, about a missing horror film star played by John Pertwee was borderline ridiculous, but he’s a delight and the Christopher Lee segment was pretty great. It featured the world’s most precious child and some very baffling parenting choices on the part of Sir Christopher. Also we got to watch him shave which was ridiculously amusing somehow. Oh! And Peter Cushing is here as well, as a quiet man, trying to settle into retirement and banish the ghosts of his past, and he’s just so good. I’m nearly out of superlatives for him.
