Back to horror documentaries. This is a seven part series, and I watched part 1, which was a pretty exhaustive exploration of vampire myths and legends – excluding Vlad Dracul, who I think gets all of the second part to himself.
I’m into it, because the historical information is really interesting but…the narration. Voice over can really make or break something for me (I’ve given up on a few podcasts because of some), and they are really trying my patience here. There’s a man guy who is just dandy, no problem. But then he hands some passages off to his friends, Community Theater Guy Who Can “Do Accents,” and Guy With a Horror Podcast and a Bad Mic.
I’m trying to reserve judgment until after a couple more installments. I’m really trying.
