day in the life

Yes, I am.

So, yeah. I’m here and feeling fine. Well, feeling tired. And happy. Going on vacation Friday – my first real vacation in three years.

For the first time since 2005 I have no homework or final project to try and work on with my ancient laptop and a sketchy hotel wifi connection. I am not consumed with grief (see Belgium, ’06) nor is this a holiday trip in which I have cooking or entertaining or other obligations to family.

This trip is strictly fun, strictly for us. ‘Cause we’ve got the whole we-got-married-six-years-ago thing going on this weekend, too.

Six years. It’s been really fun.

Aside from vakay, there’s much going on but I find that aside from renewing my old hand injury playing Burger Shop, I’ve enjoyed not using my computer for a while.

However, after a good three weeks’ respite, I am beginning to feel the call of the Mac once again. As long as my words aren’t confined within one inch margins, I’ll keep writing.

Oh, and did I mention I’m GRADUATING in June? Yes, I am.

Gratulerer med bryllupsdagen! (That’s how you say “Happy anniversary!” in Norwegian. Rolls right off your tongue, doesn’t it?)
Glad to hear you’re alive and kicking. Have fun this weekend!
