Catching up! Monday, I cured myself of the pallor left from Monsters Among Us by re-watching two episodes of 100 Years of Horror, a 13 episode series. This one I can whole-heartedly recommend. First, it’s hosted by Christopher Lee, who never mispronounces anything. It’s rich with footage from the films discussed, archival interviews with a very wide range of performers, writers, crew, and new interviews with some interesting …experts. Hugh Hefner shows up (dubious, if you ask me)! With 13 episodes, there’s bound to be a topic near to your heart, and the research is sufficiently deep. It’s a great non-fiction lover’s supplement to a month of horror films.
